The West African Examinations Council (WAEC ) will on Friday announce the release of the results of this year ’s edition of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE ).
The results, if released , will brighten the hope of all the candidates who wrote the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination , who had applied for admission into higher institutions while awaiting the results .
MM NEWS exclusively gathered from a source at the examination body , who did not want his name in print, that the decision was made yesterday at the management meeting chaired by the Head of Nigeria Office (HNO) of WAEC, Mr. Isaac Adenipekun .
The source said : “ That was the conclusion at the meeting, I was told . But the final decision is still the prerogative of the HNO, who can decide to shift that to Monday. ”
